There is a new female artist on the scene on a club tour that is taking a some scene queens by surprise. Who is this new artist named Zayra. At first I thought I misread it and it said Sahara from Ru Paul’s Drag Race on Logo. Since one of the clubs I normally attend only has drag performers do things on Thursdays but then I thought let me look this artist up it starts with a Z. This could get interesting. Reminds me of when I first saw Lady Gaga on Myspace and got curious as to who that high energy woman was and had to check her out!

I plan on seeing Zayra live this Thursday at the Rose Room inside Station 4 in Dallas which starts off Labor Day weekend festivities. Looking below it looks like I will see her again in Austin at Oil Cans on my Labor Day tour… Revolution is one of my favorite clubs listed below and if you can catch her at Tigerheat at Avalon that would definitely be a blast. We plan to get up some pics of her show in big D later this week.
The gays invade Orlando all year round but during the first week of June we really invade. Their will be many host hotels this year (too many to select from) and many pool parties. One pool you want to sit yourself in front of until the concert begins is at the Parliament House in Orlando. They have had Deborah Cox in past years and even EnVogue last year. This year they are bringing out Blake Lewis. We are very fortunate to have Blake Lewis out at the Phouse this year with his new hit song played on BPM and all over the club scene “Heartbreak on Vinyl”. The other American Idol performing that Sunday closing day of Gay Days is Frenchie Davis.
Packing to head for Florida this weekend but had to sit down and take a look at this artist after watching her Youtube Video. I was thoroughly impressed. She is not only a hottie, sings catchy tunes, and has hot dancers parading around her but she rollerskates too! Yey! I love this girl and hope she is at lots and lots of events this year for us to see. You can see her perform live at Avalon in Hollywood coming up April Fool’s Day at Tigerheat’s weekly event.
We had the chance to get some good seats to the show in Orlando, FL. We got to sit on the same row as Fred from the B52′s which was pretty neat. I was amazed at how much Lady gaga looked like a young Madonna. I mean they are both Italian girls but Ms. Stefani sure looked like Ms. Ciccone when it came down to some of the outfits and facial expressions during the show.
International pop superstar or you could say Diva of the World Lady Gaga today announced plans for her next North American tour, entitled “The Monster Ball.” The tour will begin on November 27 in Montreal, Canada. The tour is scheduled to end on January 21, 2010 in Lady Gaga’s hometown, New York City.
One of the largest gay weekly events in the nation is hosting an event tonight where you can be part of a music video. There will be a Live performance tonight from diva Pepper MaShay at TigerHeat! Tigerheat is located off of Hollywood and Vine at the Avalon venue. She will be singing and filming a music video for her new song “Manhunt”.
