Lady Gaga ‘Monster Ball’ Tour Announced

International pop superstar or you could say Diva of the World Lady Gaga today announced plans for her next North American tour, entitled “The Monster Ball.” The tour will begin on November 27 in Montreal, Canada. The tour is scheduled to end on January 21, 2010 in Lady Gaga’s hometown, New York City.

What should you expect in the Moster Ball? Lady Gaga says “The Haus of Gaga had been designing ‘The Monster Ball’ for premiere in 2010 at the O2 Arena in London, but due to diligent work and preparation, ‘The Monster Ball’ will begin on November 27 in Montreal. ‘The Monster Ball’ is a multimedia artistic experience in the style of the first-ever ‘pop electro opera.'”

Lady Gaga will release the next chapter of her record breaking album, The Fame, called The Fame Monster on November 23 just four days before the live show starts in Montreal. She is saying that people only have a few days to learn the lyrics before the tour starts up. Although those of us here in the US have a few weeks in some cities. The new album will include eight brand new songs, including the club-banging first single “Bad Romance.” She also says to “dress accordingly” for her concerts and you know what that means.. it means to dress are fashionably crazy as her!

The dates for Lady Gaga “The Monster Ball” are:

November 27 – Montreal, Quebec, Canada – The Bell Center
November 28 – Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Air Canada Center

Make sure you come back to the for updates on when the afterparties will be for the Monster Ball tour. We will try and post the afterparty clubs in each city listed.

What about presale codes for these tickets.  Adam Lambert’s blog recently reported that presales go on today October 22, and then go on sale to the general public on October 23.  Presale online now is only for cities such as Miami and Los Angeles, but we could not find Orlando Hard Rock on the list.

What gets me about the presale ticket dilemma is that stubhub already has tickets.  How does stubhub have tickets for sale for the Monster Ball tour if we are not even able to get them via presale?

Here are some places that may get you better seats or VIP to Lady Gaga, Kid Cudi. and Jason Derulo.

Fame Kills Tour with Lady Gaga + Kanye West Canceled

Breaking News:  Live Nation has announced today that the Fame Kills tour is officially canceled.  The Fame Kills Tour starring Lady Gaga and Kanye West was supposed to start November 10.  Tickets had just went on pre-sale and sale to the public last week with special passwords given for radio stations, Citi Cardholders, and Fame Kills Kanye West Fan Club members.  If you joined a fan club you could get special seating or advanced purchasing power.  That is all over now and all tickets and even fan club members will be refunded according to a FanFire rep I just spoke to.  I told them I wanted my Kanye West Fanclub refunded if the tour is done with.

There has been no explanation given from Live nation or from Fanfire for the cancellation of the concert tour.  This was highly predictable though given the fact that Kanye West said he would take some time off during his appearance on Jay Leno following the MTV VMA awards in NYC.  I kept waiting to hear that the VMA craziness with Taylor Swift and Kanye West was just a stunt but it ends up it may have really been unrehearsed.  MTV is known for their stunts with Enimen and Bruno and others over the years.  Then Lady Gaga went on radio stations to promote the tour talking about how the stage will be like no other show and how she wants to take the fame that Kanye has for her own and he wants some of her humbleness lol.  Yeah right… as if that makes any sense at all.  That indicated to me it was a big joke.

I had also noticed that the ads running for the tour presented only West’s last name with Gaga.  Trying to set him apart from his first name Kanye since it has became a curse word lately or more of a joke with people who watched the VMA’s in September.  The ads used the West + Gaga logo.

My prediction is that Lady Gaga will soon be on her own headlining tour and Kanye will take a much needed break and be behind the scenes producing music for awhile.  We look forward to seeing Lady gaga on her own tour and will be there to buy some damn good tickets to see the princess of pop live!

Sticky & Sweet Tour Announced

sticky and sweet tour madonna 2008Gimme something to eat. Get on up on the Dance Floor. Madonna is going Sticky and Sweet for her new concert tour she just announced today. Tickets will go on sale on May 16th in Europe, May 17th in Chicago, and May 24th for most of the rest of the United States dates at 10am for non-fan club members. If you are an Icon fanclub member you can purchase your tickets sooner. She is also scheduled for the first time in several years to Houston, TX (or at least she has not been to Texas during the Reinvention or Confessions tour).

This concert will sell out fast and be the hottest concert of the year. Her last concert named the Confessions tour was the most amazing experience in person. I saw it twice and wished I would have seen it more live. Watching Madonna on DVD does not do the trick you have to see it live.

Once the tickets go on sale you should check out to see if you can get a decent seat. If not, then goto Stubhub and they will have a seat in your area for a few hundred or a few grand depending on how close you want to be to the Queen of Pop.

True Colors Tour Could Get Britney Spears Finale

This is the year of the rain, fires, and drama to the max.  We mentioned that one of the greatest diva’s Mariah Carey will be opening for Mighty Weekend in Paris, France.  This is the same night I plan to attend Gwen Stefani live in Reno, Nevada.  We have third row to Gwen before I knew about Mariah Carey at the France Disney Land.  Just as I was thinking how I would love to be in two places at once comes another announcement from People magazine.

This started out as a rumor but it may be actual fact now that its published in People and some other publications.  The rumor started out that Britney Spears is hiring male backup dancers for a special, surprise appearance at the HRC True Colors Tour with Cyndi Lauper.  The story now is that Britney will use her female dancers for the show and perform her new song.

The final leg of the True Colors Tour will be held at the Greek Theatre located in Los Angeles, CA.  If Britney Spears shows up it will make it an even spectacular event with already high profile performers including Erasure and Cyndi Lauper.  The host includes Margaret Cho and possibly Rosie O’Donnell. There will also be a special appearance with Jeffree Star.

If this happens this Saturday it will definitely be one of the most exciting last minute additions to a concert tour in years.  It will also be great to see Britney Spears support the HRC and the gay and lesbian audience attending the event.

Concert Tickets for this final True Colors event sold out in less than one day since the Brittney speculation began. It may be hard to get tickets but there are many sites like,, and others that may have these last minute seats.

Britney Vegas Show

Yes, it is the beginning of Ms. Britney’s comeback and it has to do with M&M’s. Not the candy chocolate but the band name she is using to book concerts at the House of Blues in San Diego and Las Vegas. We found out from and even watched her tour bus go down the San Diego Freeway with fans and cameras following closely. You cannot say this is not a huge deal.

Me and my buddy Dean decided it is time to hit up Vegas for the weekend and if Britney uses this M&M name to cancel the show and some dancing M&M’s show up then we will just put it past us and party it up in Vegas. Then again we sure hope Britney Spear’s is really coming with her hot back up dancers to show us some sexy moves and vocals.

There is also the chance we may see her partying, as we did last time we were in Vegas for Hustlaball and Piranha 8 1/2. There is also gay pride weekend going on this weekend with special Friday night Psycho Midget Wrestling to be held at Krave (next to Planet Hollywood Casino).

Details on the Britney Show: She is performing at the House of Blues in Las Vegas at 7pm. Tickets are $60+ for general admission standing room only and are being sold on Ticketmaster, eBay and Craigs List.

We hope to see you there or at the Piranha, 8.5, and Krave!

Justin Timberlake, Pink Concert Tour

A group of friends and I attended the FutureSex/LoveShow tour starring Pink and Justin Timberlake last night in Dallas at the American Airlines Center. We paid around $120 or so for the tickets off of eBay but were almost tempted to buy the barstool VIP tickets instead of the floor general admissions we ended up with. I am glad we did not for a few reasons.

The concert was fun but not as fun as I expected. The best part of the concert was Pink who most expected to not cause as big a stir as Justin Timberlake. Pink finished her set with Get this Party Started doing acrobats off of two pink bungee type props. I was amazed that Pink actually got up there and did that herself. She seemed to have more energy than Justin. I did hear that Justin just got over the flu so maybe it was that that kept him from performing his best or it could have been that his grandma was attending the concert and he had to tone some of it down.

All in all Justin played on the piano most of the time singing ballads and very slow songs that most had never heard. People who were standing in the floor area wanted to sit down and take a nap most of the concert. At one point I did sit on the floor wishing I had a seat reserved in one of the sections to sit on. Justin Timberlake should have warned people they were going to a performance that we could all bring our grandparents to and sit in chairs opposed to a “Sex Love Show” tour as it was marketed.

Bottom line: If you want to catch Justin Timberlake you should see him at a small venue not a large venue. He was at a smaller place like the Gypsy Tea Room in Dallas months ago and that’s where he belongs until he can get his NSYNC or Britney Spears mojo back. There is definitely nothing sexy about his large venue concert. Pink deserves to be the headliner. Pink should be out there producing a big concert tour like Britney’s Onyx Tour or Madonna’s Confessions Tour instead of playing pop princess to Justin.

There is also a controversy surrounding the after parties from this concert tour. Justin Timberlake’s label Jive records announced recently that there has been fraudulent after parties promoted where there were claims made that Justin would make appearances, sign autographs, and/or make small vocal performances. Be aware of attending any after parties you have to pay any money to since they are probably not official. There were no club events planned around this concert in Dallas but then again I think everyone went to bed in a deep sleep after this concert date.
