We thought the sky was falling when we first got to Palm Springs this year. We got to the room and were behind the pool stage then heard that Peter Rauhofer canceled. Heard rumors that Rihanna would perform but shes in Calgary and hasn’t she been canceling her own tour dates?!? Then AT&T data is not working right which means no Grindr, no Twitter, no Facebook, and that is the reason I first thought JeffreySanker.com may be not showing up. We then come to find that the main page is not showing up so we can’t view the concert schedules. Oh to hell with all this I just saw several hot Cali boys walk by… on to the pool party..then to the sexy underwear party that is always a big hit.

Let me just say that the LED lights/screens at the main event on Saturday were breathtaking. I walked in this place and thought I am in Heaven. I loved how they could spread Alexis Jordon on all the screens across the entire dance floor. Makes it more dramatic and fun. The effects they could do were stunning. These screens should come back again and again.

If you were watching Kathy Griffin’s “Kathy” last night on Bravo you may have noticed Carmen Electra make an exclusive announcement she would be one of the headliners of the White Party Palm Springs 2013. We were actually stunned as we were watching the show live (big Kathy fans). We are fans of Carmen Electra so we will be interested to see how she will fulfill the shoes of the HUGE shoes of Lady Gaga, Robyn, Ke$ha, and Mary J. Bldge’s performance in previous years. We are the most excited about Icona Pop who we actually knew would be in the running because these events get a big predictable after a few years. Icona Pop will most likely steal the show this year as it is the most top 40 and hottest artist that everyone wants to see this year.

The “Born This Way’ Tour is no longer now that Lady Gaga has been injured and unless you are going to see Pink or Beyonce in concert you better come here to get your new music and live performances fix. Willam Belli & Detox and Vicky Vox from Ru Paul’s Drag race are another performance I cannot wait to see. They sing the Alicia Keys parody “That Boy Is A Bottom.” White Party producer Jeffrey Sanker has revealed a sizzling list of world class talent for this year’s annual White Party, happening March 29-April 1 in Palm Springs, CA. Ana Matronic of Scissor Sisters will rock White Party into the ultimate Palm Springs Kiki with an unforgettable solo performance. In addition, Roc Nation/Columbia Records artist Alexis Jordan returns by popular demand to spread the “happiness” and debut her slamming new song, “Acid Rain.”

One of the hottest attractions of the Gay Disney or some call it “Gay Days” Orlando is the afterhours circuit events. The Tunnel has been mostly a disappointment while it has been held at Buena Vista Palace the last two years as an afterhours people wanted the huge party we once saw with thousands of shirtless men inside one huge football size field. Only because we are size queens of course. The Tunnel afterhours did provide a safer way to get back to our hotel rooms from the party but it had nothing close to the sounds, lights, and huge crowds that the One Mighty Party’s Arabian Nights parties had.

Johnny Chisolm seems to be making this comback bringing back One Mighty Weekend to the Disney area after his failed attempt a few years ago when Mark Baker took over the events. The Magic Journey will be held at Arabian Nights starting Friday May 31st with Peter Rauhofoer (a DJ known to show up in Miami and Orlando in competition with the other main act). Brazilian DJ Gustavo Scorpio tears up the stadium June 1st along with DJ Joe Gauthrauaux from NYC. The closing party is no other than the “closers” of every big circuit event… Rosabel. This DJ Pair will play Sunday June 2nd. Which is technically Monday June 3rd at around 3am is when this will get hot.

It seems every club is going to be having a last standing KiKi on 12-21-12. The last Earth day as we know it will be on a Friday but what if we do not make it to the club in time to dance our twink butts off to the beat? What songs will be played for the final songs of the year? We know Britney Spears “Til The World Ends” will be one of the Price song 1999 (well maybe not). There will for sure be a Madonna song of “Celebration” if we get to live until 12-22-12. The spas including the Steam in Portland and the nightclubs, bars, and even retailers are trying to get you in their business to spend money on this day of reckoning. Have you made your plans yet this might just be another gay excuse for a New Years’ Eve before the real New Years’ Eve. Of course we are gay we always have to make up another excuse to party.

You may be off work or school for the following Monday on Columbus Day so it makes a great weekend to party with some porn stars and hustla’s. After a sold-out smash success this summer in London, the next installment of the “world’s most hedonistic dance party” is HustlaBall New York, coming on Columbus Day Weekend, October 7th. We used to really enjoy the HustlaBall’s they had in Las Vegas but it quietly disappeared after a few years. We took some great photos of that event…

With Hurricane Isaac there are many that are still undecided on traveling to New Orleans for the ever-popular Southern Decadence although it seems that Oz Nightclub plans to re-open at 8am tomorrow. Keep in mind that most flights departing for New Orleans will be hard to get and we have heard that both Southwest Airlines and American Airlines are not taking any new flights until Saturday. That pretty much takes half of the big weekend away. Chi Chi LaRue and big named DJs will be embracing NOLA this weekend as planned (so they say).

Many partygoers are searching for other destinations and there are many to pick from. Our first choice is Splash in Austin, TX. Splash which holds the daytime part of the party at Lake Travis is in an area called Hippie Hollow where you can bare all. Yes, it is the only Texas beach where you can go nude. The event features boats all tied up (not people) with party barges and a beach full of gays in the beautiful landscape of Lake Travis. The host hotel is the Embassy Suites in Downtown Austin which is walking distance to the bars. The main event will feature Roland Belmares be held at the Austin Music Hall and an after hours with DJ Seth Cooper. The local bars include Rain, Oil Can Harry’s, and Charlie’s. You can navigate the downtown area well just riding some of the bicycle taxis around with some hot college students driving you. The party closes out Sunday night with DJ Randy Bettis from NYC at Republic Live.

I am one of the worst procrastinators but this event I have missed way too many times. It sneaks up on me and I am not sure how I could forget because Chicago weather would seem much more like a holiday than the weather where I am now in Austin. My biggest thing is that the Best Western Hawthorne is already sold out and probably is sold out months in advance. I would not want to be at a hotel far away from the boys town strip. This event is featured on our must do event list for next year which was written… um. last year ok a few years agp. This year Northalsted Market Days will take place the weekend of August 11-12, when a crowd of more than 100,000 from across the country. The packed Halsted Street celebrates the annual event as the largest two-day street fair in the Midwest and lives up to its reputation as one of the country’s finest festivals! They only ask that you donate $8 to enter this amazing festival and look who the guests include! Olivia Newton-John, The Pointer Sisters, Sheena Easton, and Karmin. Karmin is a group I would love to see live as they are taking off on the club charts right now! Jesse and the Toy Boys, Jessica Sutta of the Pussy Cat Dolls, Paris Bennett, and the fabulous Wynter Gordon who has a new hot single coming out. 16 Candles, Dot Dot Dot, Abba Salute, and much more! Market Days in Chicago spans a full six city blocks and has 17 entrances if that tells you what a big deal this is for world to come see!
