Revolt, a nightclub catering to the LGBT community in Las Vegas is set to open its doors with a preview party on the 23rd of September. Revolt Nightclub is opening its doors on September 23rd with what is gaining hype as the hottest upcoming event on the local nightlife scene. It will be an invite-only preview party starting from 10PM to 12AM, sponsored by Absolut & Crush.
Set to function as a hybrid lounge and nightclub, Revolt will be a welcoming space with state of the art lighting and sound, amazing talent, and top notch staff. It will be open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 10PM to 4AM. More importantly, Revolt Nightclub is going to cater to the LGBT community and be walking distance from Britney Spears’ show at Planet Hollywood. We heard rumors that Share may be closing down and those turned out to be true unfortunately. Share, the largest LGBT nightclub in Las Vegas shut its doors last month. The gay scene in Las Vegas only has one dance club left which is not on the strip but on the gay Fruit Loop and that club is Piranha.
But where can you catch drag queens and hot gogo dancers in straight people’s sin city? Wait in line for a dress code club with overly expensive drinks on the strip? Stay tuned because there are a few that are coming soon to Las Vegas at least we are hearing about.
Housed in the former Rendezvous space on Arville off Tropicana, Krush nightclub will celebrate its grand opening July 22. The venue is already promoting weekly parties (Hip-Hop Wednesdays, Throwback Thursdays, F*ck It Fridays, Shirtless Saturdays and Latin Night Sundays) and drag shows hosted by local queen Elektra Del Rio. They have an adult entertainment cabaret license so private dance rooms will be part of this club’s attraction. Continue reading Las Vegas Gay Nightclubs Update, No Gay Days 2016
Las Vegas is ranked by some as one of the top leisure destinations for LGBT travels. We for the most part highly disagree as the club scene has went downhill the last few years following the demise of Krave and other high profile gay bars. While it may not be a great place for single people it is a good place for couples and for single people during big event weekends. There are also plenty of hotels, attractions and dining on the strip to enjoy. The top events this year are mostly the same including Matinee Las Vegas, Las Vegas Gay Pride, and the Temptation Pool Parties.
April 22-24. National Gay Basketball Association (NGBA) will host The Coady Roundball Classic which brings 36 LGBT and Ally teams from across the U.S. and Canada to Las Vegas and is the longest running LGBT basketball tournament in the world.
April 28-May 1. Dinah Vegas, An event for lesbians by lesbians returns for its 5th year in Las Vegas. A weekend-long event with cocktail parties, sunshine, and poolside fun. Caesars Entertainment welcomes the ladies in style with live entertainment from a top-tier line up of Lesbian DJs including Dawna Montell, Dirty Kurty, Whitney Day and DJ Du Jour. Event highlights include a headlining performance by former Pussycat Doll Kaya at the Infinity Pool Party inside Flamingo Las Vegas and the always anticipated Vegas White party at Chateau Nightclub at Paris Las Vegas. Revo Sundays LGBT night To End
October 2015: The entire Beatles Revolution Lounge at the Mirage will close completely October 14th. Say goodbye to Revolution Sundays!
Share Nightclub is undergoing a “Remodel”
October 2015: Some management and staff changes have already occurred. A slight remodel—ending with a New Year’s Eve grand reopening—will take place over the next few months, with a larger revamp planned for 2016. The calendar looks similar to last month’s, but that could change by NYE. Share Nightclub in Las Vegas claims that Friday’s popular Stripper Circus is here to stay regardless of the remodeling taking place.
It seemed as if Liaison Nightclub was doing spectacular as it gave away 10,000 in prizes for Halloween, had Ru Paul stars such as Coco Monteose performing along with others, Official Britney Spears after parties and had Lance Bass host nights with bottle services in the $200’s at tables. The club was located inside of Bally’s which is an odd location but being across from Drai’s you would think it wasn’t too bad. Liaison Las Vegas closed its doors last week and took away its Facebook page.
Liaison Nightclub had a line extending to Bally’s slot machines, with generally packed dance floors, several occupied VIP tables and busy bars between midnight and 2 a.m.—typically signs of a healthy, successful night. Several attendees sported Britney Spears shirts, having just walked over from Planet Hollywood where she had just performed for the afterparty.
This ultralounge was first of its kind inside a Vegas casino—which opened its doors last June after Victor Drai and this team moved their afterhours party back to its basement location at the Cromwell but kept the space they renovated at great expense. Even as January reportedly saw an uptick in attendance, the Drai team has decided to end the operation. Employees were informed last week at a meeting.

Quick Update for 2015:
1. There has been more club closings in Las Vegas and all the main events will be at the Piranha Nightclub instead of a larger club such as Krave or Share.
2. Gay Days has not listened to most of our suggestions but they did get Wifi at the Luxor allegedly. They are not booking rooms past the 15th of August which is kind of a hassle as we suggest staying at Tropicana or Cosmopolitan anyway but you will not get included pool passes or *cough* free Piranha nightclub entry.
3. Good news is that Uber will finally be back in Las Vegas just in time for this years PRIDE and Gay Days events. So to get downtown from the Luxor and other hotels for the pride parade will be much easier and cheaper than a taxi.
Gay Days Las Vegas Review and Suggested Changes
Looking back to September when Gay Days Las Vegas took place we were excited that it would be so much better then the premier year. We have been long time Gay Days fans of the Orlando events and thought we would join in on Las Vegas because by September we are still getting over the fun we had from June. The only problem is to many things went wrong in 2013 in Las Vegas to the gay scene and during pride that sort of made the Gay Days events turn out lamer to what we expected.

Las Vegas has been without Krave Massive since it was forced shut Labor Day weekend and the weekend before gay pride. The former owner of Krave when it was on the strip next to Planet Hollywood has purchased the Krave trade name and plans to move it to where an afterhours used to be called Empire Ballroom. This is located at 3765 Las Vegas Blvd S in Suite G. This looks like an exciting venue judging from the photos with it having two stories of space, a stage similar to the last Krave on the strip, and a balcony area. This will bring it back home closer to the fruit loop near Tropicana and on the strip.

Gay Days Las Vegas starts Thursday, September 5th with Fabulous pool parties everyday until the closing Pride Pool Party on Sunday. It will be lots of boys, scandalous swimsuits, and the glamourous cabanas. Jeffrey Sanker will be hosting a pool party across the Strip one day of the big weekend called the Glam pool party which is free to enter at the Tropicana Las Vegas (the other host hotel). Saturday you will have the choice to do the pool party at the Luxor or the Tropicana. Sanker’s party will allow you to get a free cabana if you bring 15 friends. Wonder what I could get for 150 friends? jk. You also get complimentary day beds if you bring 10 friends.
Share Nightclub may be the spot to go this year for Pride in Las Vegas. They are hosting the official Pride afterparty at Share Nightclub at 4636 Wynn Rd. on Saturday Night. They also have a hot looking Boys night on Thursday night to kick off Gay Days Week. Krave Massive seems to be having legal issues with the state of Nevada and may be closed although they were set to have Neon Hitch perform. Piranha Nightclub also may be a hot spot if they do their extended patio fun again this year outside of 8 and a half.
Marquee is hosting a Sunday night event for pride and will feature a live performance. If you have not been to Marquee yet it is located inside the amazing Cosmopolitan a gay happy resort that can get you some Marriott points. We just hope there is not a dress code like on regular nights for the str8’s. Revolution Sunday is also a great bet to catch the locals and good music.
The pride parade is scheduled for Friday night downtown and is unique of course because it is not in the heat of the day but at night. We love that!
We are looking forward to some epic pool parties at the Luxor and Tropicana!
Krave Massive apparently has been shut down by the State of Nevada over licensing issues before Labor Day weekend one of the biggest revenue nights of the year for any club. It is also right before Las Vegas Pride and Gay Days weekend which falls on September 6th. We still do not know if they will be open on September 6th for the night following the Pride Parade.
The Las Vegas Sun Newspaper reported that the state of Nevada on Friday closed Krave Massive due to unspecified permit issues. Drink & Drag, a drag queen bowling alley and gaming lounge also owned by the Krave Co. on the second floor of Neonopolis, will remain open.
