Circque Du Monde presented by Tequila Herradura to benefit the World’s Oldest and Largest HIV/AIDS Fundraiser for Care Resource. The party starts Wednesday of Thanksgiving week with White Heat at the Mova Lounge with DJ Miik in Miami Beach.  Thursday night DJs Drew Tribe and Isaac Escalante hit up the Score Bar.  Friday brings a shopping event to get discounts and even see a winner announced for a Window Decorating contest.  At 9pm Cirque Blanc X starts up for the Women and 10pm the circuit boys and men head over to White Dreams to see thousands of shirtless Gods and hear the beats of Chus and Ceballos and Louis Puig at Space NightClub.  White Dreams and maybe some Wet Dream experiences while hear these superstar DJ’s.

DJ Seth Cooper will be spinning at the Shelborne Beach Resort for the HeatWave Pool Party Saturday 27^th from 11am to 5pm.  Starting at 6:30 until only 11:30pm is the crown jewel of the entire celebration of the White Party.  This will also be the last year they will have the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens as this venue.  Cirque Dreams will be performing with thousands dressed in white dancing under the Miami moon upon acres of renaissance gardens.  You may need to regroup a bit and then prepare for the  afterparty at Mekka Miami with Daniel Kristopherre , DJ Escape, and DJ Paulo.

If you brought your muscles out to play then from 1pm to 10pm Sunday is the funday at the beach with the Muscle Beach Party at 12^th street beach in MIA Beach DJs Roland Belmares and Joe Gauthreaux.  There will be a grand fireworks finale.  At 3pm to 11pm the White Sunset T-Dance at the Palace Bar on Ocean Drive and 12^th in MIA Beach.   Then Sunday night at Cameo around 10pm to 5am Noche Blanca party brings DJ Oscar G with DJ Phil B and Twisted Dee.   At 5am Monday morning following this party DJ Abel takes you into White Horizons until 4pm at the Nocturnal Nightclub.   The final party is at Twist bar at 11pm  to 5am on Monday to have one last drink with the locals.

Can’t make it to the White Party Miami?  Then consider the Winter Party held in early 2011.  It is one fierce pool party and you still get to party in Sobe and have plenty of time to take off work.

We really loved the 18 and up Discotekka club located just blocks from Space and other downtown Miami clubs.  It was busy and had three dance rooms.. oh wait I think that was 4 dance rooms.  The main room had a stage with drag performances every hour or so.

There was a room with gogo dancers, hip hip room, latin-ish room, and an outside area to smoke and cool off from the sweaty dancefloor. Lot’s of nice VIP.  Discotekka had many hot boys but did have its problems as we saw with the ATM issue.

There was a show at Bill’s Filling Station on Saturday night with Ultra Nate which really put on a good performance and sung live. Always nice to see someone who is not lip syncing (Britney, meh) and can actually get her voice out there to her live audience. She looked killer in her outfit and diva-ed out her hit songs to the crowd. I did not stay there long afterwards because the crowd was pretty much bears and a little on the older side but I did enjoy the music and the strong drinks and free shots from Absolut Vodka. I see Absolut out at more clubs doing promotions than any other vodka or beverage brand so I continue to support them when I have a Vodka Red Bull in hand. Bill’s Filling station was a nice club with a good sized dance floor and located in Wilton Manors.

We had heard it was a gay night over at Voodoo Lounge on Saturdays now but it was pretty lame. They had go-go dancers dancing away on the stage but they were a little beefy for me. The drinks are hella expensive and the barbacks have an attitude. They were filming some D-List looking show in the lounge area with a VH-1 crew. Too bad there was not much of a crowd out there Saturday night it could have been more fun.

Saturday night we just had to bar hop it on over to Johnnies where they have all the twink dancers but it seemed dead as well. I really was starting to feel like I was in a ghost town for a minute unless your straight the gays did not get out to support their clubs as much. The door guy or security guy at Johnnies was a total jerk to people that will run people off and make them never come back. The drinks were strong but it was lacking people and boys.

Where are the boys in Ft. Lauderdale these days? I guess all the twinks live in Orlando now because we know they certainly do not live in Miami.

The coolest thing I saw while I was in town was a tour of the Route 66 Nightclub built by the guy who opened up Crowbar and has opened up clubs across the U.S. It has been sold to new owners so they do not have the weekly Sunday night pool and T-dance parties anymore but they certainly still have a cute bartender out there by the pool serving things up. His name is Lynden. I was impressed by the insides of the Route 66 club where it is named from the adventures of the Crowbar owner. The bar inside has a glass coating where it has hotel keys, bags or something resembling drugs that were taken on this journey haha, all kinds of things even included a cremated bag of the now deceased partner of the Crowbar in Miami who worked the door. Vito who was such a nice guy who I was lucky to meet back in the big club Salvation days. You know the club where everyone was sweating, had their shirts off, and could probably not speak a sentence they were so fucked up.

Allegra is an event thrown every so often at the Route 66 and will be a New Years Day party and one on January 14th I believe is what we were told by the bartender. You can then check out this unique club for yourself and see all the goodies in the glass case at the bar.
Sundays are the T-Dance at Sea Monster where it starts early but people do not show up until a few hours after the doors open. The party then dies down around 10 or so and people walk it on over to the Voodoo Lounge where you will see some fabulous drag performances headlined by Daisy Deadpeddles . She performs the most amazing Madonna. Sea Monster was closed down for awhile but it is back and roaring. Voodoo Lounge was pretty busy Sunday but not as busy as I had remembered it a few years back. You are still able to get VIP and get bottle service and have front row seating to the drag queens performing which I love about that place. Then go dance in the white room.

Alegria will throw the Sunday night events with some big names on Easter weekend.  If you are staying on the East Coast for April 12th they will have DJ’s Tracy Young and Paulo.  We are assuming the club is gay on Sundays only and that it will also be 21 to enter.

Alegria at Crobar is located at 219 South Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd and is supposed to have ocean views and even a pool area inside.  Send in some pics if anyone has any I would love to see what this club looks like.  This Ric Sena event sounds like more of a T-Dance (4pm) than a club night so maybe people goto Voodoo Lounge for the Life’s A Drag afterwards.

Is there a gay night anywhere on Saturday nights in Ft. Lauderdale besides Steel/Jackhammer?  We checked out The Living Room on a Friday night.

I will say that two dj’s stood out more than anyone at the events and they were DJ Roland Belmares at the pool party and Offer Nissam at Mansion Sunday night. We got to the pool party late and did not want it to end just loving Roland’s music as always.  I never realized the following Offer Nissam had until this weekend.  It was something else to watch!

The party Saturday night was held at ParkWest in downtown Miami next to Space. It was the biggest waste of time and money. First of all they do not allow re-entry. You would think after paying $80 to get in a party
you could damn well re-enter the motha. I think just to be able to breath someone would have to walk outside it was like 100 degrees inside there which came down to 99.9 degrees when the nitrogen came down for its split second. I understand nitrogen is expensive but the club in Houston called Southbeach pours it down for several minutes until you freeze and this circuit party could barely squeeze out a few drops leaving us sweating to death lol. But hey its all good we will run our way out of this place and learn our lesson.

So we head over to Twist because its open until 5am and everyone else did the same because the Mercury Rising party was too hot, bartenders from hell, oh wait it was hell… We then get over to Twist and there was a line going all the way down to the next block outside twist and the fire marshall was not allowing anyone to go inside.  They kept people standing outside twist for an hour and a half and when it was around 4:40am they decided to inform everyone no one else is getting inside the rest of the night.  Well so much for Saturday night it was a waste.

The beach party the next day was lots of fun. We especially loved the grand stands at the side it was like a high school football game with WINTER PARTY words on both sides.  That’s hot!

FOOD BREAK – If you want a cheap, trendy, and really tasty place to eat try out Raphael’s off Lincoln.  We ate there twice while we were there in South Beach.  They had some 50% off deal and it was like $7 for delicious pasta meals.  And yeah we did eat some lol.

Sunday night was Cameo which used to be Crowbar with DJ Tony Moran.  We were super excited to goto Cameo again and hit it up for a bit, danced, then went down to see Offer Nissam at the Work party at Mansion.  Yup, another eighty bucks.  Cha-Ching! We walked in and it was lots of hot juicy dancers and amazing music.  It was like a religious experience with Offer Nissam playing he was waving his hands from side to side doing a show on top of the spinning of the music.

We stayed at the Doubletree Surfcomber hotel Saturday and Sunday nights and sure loved the cabanas and quick walk over to the beach.  The shopping in South beach is always addictive until you realize how much you just spent!

I think next year we will just skip the Saturday night party since it has not been all that great two years in a row now.  We will for sure do the pool party and beach party and just do twist and score for the clubbing part at night. Save some money and not die of a heatstroke inside the saunas.

It was similar to the gay days pool parties which I think cannot be beat. Typhoon Lagoon’s Beach Ball and the Gay Day Reunion Hotel have the best pool beach parties I have attended. But this one was great because it was right in the middle of South Beach. You could just walk out the gate to see the Atlantic Ocean. Maybe pick up a hot straight boy and bring him back inside for some drinks.

Under the Stars at Karu & Y Club in Downtown Miami was Saturday night. It was a nice venue with an amazing outside. The outside as you can see in the pic to the above left was like a jungle and beautiful. We spent most of the night outside just enjoying how nice it was. DJ Abel and Rosabel were spinning on the inside but the indoors was kind of long and low ceiling. No boxes to dance on.

The outside area had little cabana areas and hut-like bathrooms making it unique. Small man-made river streams and bridges just made this outdoor patio the best I have seen… Karu & Y club is located at 71 NW 14th Street.

Orbit was Sunday night at Cameo (pics below) 1445 Washington Avenue. I have not been there since Crowbar and it looked like they remodeled it some. It was a highly expensive $85 compared to the $45 on Saturday (normally the other way around). Orbit was unbelievably packed and had the greatness of Tony Moran spinning. There were many boxes to dance on, vip areas, lounges, many bars, and lots of bathrooms. I missed it last year and after this years fun I will definately be back again in 2009.
