One of the best things about Parliament House for Gay Days weekend in Orlando each year are the amazing shows outside by the legendary pool. One of the best performers of all-time is Deborah Cox and she returns for this years festivities. While we are excited to see Miss Cox we also noticed that RuPaul’s Drag Race has taken over the shows compared to previous years and you’ll see less diva singing acts such as LeAnn Rimes and Salt N’ Pepa.
Thursday, May 31 – PI@PH – The Weekend’s Kick Off Party with no cover before 11pm. $10 after 11pm. The official Gay Days pool party will also be going on this night along with an event at Southern Nights Orlando.
Friday, June 1 – Alaska Thunderf*ck Live in Concert along with the Footlight Players, Adult Film Stars, DJ’s Kidd Madonny, DJ Scott Robert & DJ Brianna. Tickets are $20 this night but we recommend RIPTIDE @ Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon to see the hottest boys of the weekend.
Saturday, June 2 – Deborah Cox live in concert! one of our favorite performers along with the Footlight Players, Adult Film Stars, and DJ Kidd Madonny. Tickets will be $30 at the door to see one of the top Divas show us how it’s done. The foam party in the back will also be going strong!
Sunday, June 3 – Season 10 Invasion with Aquaria, The Vixen & Miz Cracker along with the Footlight Players, Adult Film Stars, DJ’s Kidd Madonny, DJ Scott Robert & DJ Brianna. Free before 6pm and $20 at the door. This is normally our favorite night to dance at the Parliament House and they bring in a singer but it seems to be more drag focused this year. The foam party will be going with all of the scandalous fun.
As Thursday nights have been a big hit for bars across the country to watch the popular VH1 show from Ru Paul it seems it’s carried over to Orlando’s biggest weekend. Parliament House already has the best talent without the need to spend the money to bring in all the Drag Race girls but “it is what it is” as Mariah Carey would say.
