The Earth is shaking once again in Vegas and the shift is going towards the opposite side of the strip away from the fruit loop and more in the Charlie’s area. The locals are sick of the same top 40 music being played at Krave nightclub and have begged from something more than what Piranha / 8 and a half has to offer. How many times can you hear that “shot, shot, shot, EVERYBODY!, shot, shot, shot,” and all of the overplayed Vegas theme songs. Locals do not want to hear the word Vegas in every song. Three months ago Krave was basically playing much the same music even though they changed Dj’s in the main room. It’s almost like the playlist that is on an early 2011 repeat and we do remember Krave was one of the clubs that got the Worst Dj of the year. Not that we do not like the club it was one of our favorites at a time but it needs a makeover and is basically what some guests have called LA’s RAGE but over sized. New artists are rarely played at Krave or Piranha so just about anyone could come in and open up something to compete. The new club called Share really just has to play good music and have a dance floor. That’s where DJ Pornstar comes in with house music and yes.. some fierce diva house. You may know him from Revolution night at the Mirage on Sundays.
Keep in mind if we wanted to goto a straight club with bouncers who stare at you like they are the secret service there are many choices in the town of Casinos. To be pulled around like some kid told not to go into the bathroom with your drink because its 18 and up night is a bit over-the-top. Not that we mind Krave being 18 and up but it could figure something out maybe a redesign to make it a bit more magical inside. Krave does get points for having a 18 night on Sundays though because that night has boxes set up on the main dancefloor for anyone to dance on instead of their gogo dancers who look like they are not even dancing to the bad music that is playing. Maybe bring an iPhone in and just put it on MyFlexRadio to dance to? Oh wait those don’t really get reception there if you have AT&T we have found.
Maybe Krave is trying with their Sunday night design of the club but that just does not help its Friday or Saturday night same ole’ concept. It was a magical place when it first opened and now it just seems more of a drag and not the kind of drag you see on Ru Paul.
Share has been taking away some of the sexier crowd we noticed. It was quite the relief of hot guys and good music. It was a smaller dancefloor but you could still get a drink just as fast and they had one thing other gay clubs in Vegas did not have… a frackin’ Red Bull Vodka. Yes, Krave has Monster which is ultimately disgusting. This is not the Monster Lady Gaga likes… its more like a NASCAR type Monster not to be taken into a gay club. Piranha and 8 1/2 had Rockstar which is a tad better but not as good as the juicy Red Bulls you get at Share and Charlie’s. Charlie’s Absolut Vodkas are only $5 on Sundays btw.
Share has an upstairs that you can actually go into unlike Piranha without a bottle service and its not small like a French elevator. The upscale upstairs area was fun to hang out and drink with another dj up there then go dance it off downstairs. They don’t seem to keep tabs open at Share so be ready for tons of credit card receipts throughout the night unless you just go ahead and get a bottle. Notice some of the pics are from the pornstars recently at Share nightclub in Vegas. Reese Rideout and some others with some give-a-ways of dong.
What about VIP? If you can’t get VIP in Vegas you are not looking in the right area. Get on GRINDR or craigslist every other guy on there is trying to earn a VIP commission to get your name on a list somewhere.

I guess a DanceHall Queen like Robyn better not dare dance at that club she will be told to get off. Disturbing to see a nightclub with such a sign. If you don’t want people to dance then close your doors and let someone else run it. Also, spotted around Las Vegas is one of the hottest bodies from the Cowboy who works the door at Charlie’s and parts of the drag show on Sunday nights at Charlie’s and Revolution.
