I would invest in a party that is bigger than that and gives to a crowd that gets discount for being a student. $40 to hear Roland -- yes that is worth it but at a decent venue lol. The main event was very hot and it did take forever to get a drink. But trust me, $40 to hear Roland is not unheard of, it was also cheaper if you had purchased advance tix. DJ Seth Cooper brought the house down at the after hours and was the dj of this year's splash days. I have heard him at Jungle every year and last year's Octo-Tea. Afterhours was amazing and when they closed at 7am, the entire place was still packed. You missed a good party and even though this party weekend renewal had some first year "problems," there were a lot of people already talking about coming back. I think it's wrong to judge so hard on a first year trial. 3 parties for $80 advance ticket is a good deal. Check out other party weekends and let us know if you find cheaper for 3 parties. Let's see what happens in 2009!
