Aussie Nervo DJ’s to Headline 3-D White Party Palm Springs

Everyone is going 3-D these days. Pretty soon you will see 3-D on your Grindr app with boys just popping out at you in more ways than one. Jeffrey Sanker just announced today that his famous White Party in Palm Springs is taking it to the next level and making the party this April 6-9, a 3-D Event.

Known as the largest gay dance music festival in North America it expands into a whole new dimension the first or second weekend of April depending if you count Saturday as the weekend which most should. Who can turn down a vacation of sun-drenched mountain vistas and spectacular desert skies? Even flying into the Palm Beach Airport is a vacation in itself half of it is uncovered.

The White party has always amazed with it’s breakthrough talent which have included performances from Lady Gaga, Robyn, Ke$ha and Jennifer Lopez. “White Party 2012 is going to be a 3-D experience,” said Sanker. “Bigger and bolder LED and visual displays and immense stage and platform structures designed to stretch the limits of your imagination, the only lenses needed are your shades.”

2012 will have a line-up including some of the world’s most innovative icons in dance music, including Grammy nominees Dave Audé and Rosabel, as well as Billboard #1 remixers/producers Moto Blanco (UK), Wayne G, Manny Lehman, Hector Fonseca, Andy Almighty and red-hot rising stars such as DJs Grind, Pornstar, Chad Jack and more.

Australian global DJ sensation, NERVO, (NervoNation/SirusXM) is confirmed to headline Saturday night’s White Party, their first appearance at a gay music festival. Definitely the ones to watch, these outrageously beautiful and talented blond Aussie twins have collaborated with such heavy hitters as Afrojack and David Guetta and recently rocked IMS at Ibiza and Winter Music Conference. We are big fans of Sirus XM radio and pleased to see such mainstream dj’s come into the gay festival and hope they play gay house and not just mainstream. We have high hopes they will mix some gayness in the mix.

Grindr will celebrate its 3rd Year Anniversary and 3 million members and maybe 4 million by the time of the largest pool party in the Desert. You can have your official WP2012 Grindr profile photo taken and expect the unexpected as the action heats up poolside at the Renaissance. DJ Grind starts things off and then UK powerhouse DJ/Producer Andy Almighty (Almighty/7th Heaven/Club Junkies) makes his White Party debut. Arguably the most prolific force in gay dance music, Andy’s highly-anticipated set should be nothing short of legendary. DJ Grind and a Grindr party what a collaboration.

Sunday T-Dance continues its reign as the largest outdoor dance event of its kind in the world. This year’s top notch line-up includes: DJs Dave Audé, Manny Lehman and Moto Blanco (UK), along with surprise entertainment. Celebrate under the warm afternoon desert sun and enjoy the panoramic view from atop the world-famous Ferris Wheel. The choreographed fireworks finale will light up the evening sky this year featuring an exclusive soundtrack remixed by Dave Audé just for this occasion.

Saturday night’s surprise superstar live performer will be announced soon. Stay tuned for more details.

Er what’s “gay house”?  If you’re referring to all the Britney, Gaga, Rihanna, and Madonna remixes you hear at WPPPS, that’s not even house – it’s pop – and is certainly more mainstream than mainstream house.

I would think more along the lines of a Deborah Cox that is not mainstream pop music making it more for the gay house niche. Stuff that is played at lot’s of circuit events. Just Sayin’ they are not circuit Dj’s so it will be interesting to see what they DO play.
