GayDays 2026 Officially Back On With Fully Immersive Host Hotel Experience June 4–8

After weeks of uncertaintyGayDays has officially confirmed that its 2026 event will move forward as scheduled, running from June 4–8 in Orlando. The announcement comes following a brief planning pause earlier this month, during which organizers reassessed the event’s structure and guest experience.

For this year’s 35th anniversary celebration, GayDays will deliver a more immersive and community-focused format, featuring exclusive use of the entire host hotel. All guest rooms, event venues, and amenities will be reserved solely for GayDays attendees—creating a private environment for the LGBTQ+ community to gather, celebrate, and connect.

“We took the time to make the right decision for our community and for the future of GayDays,” said co-owner Josh Duke. “This year, the entire property will be dedicated to our guests, creating the immersive, adult-focused experience people have been asking for.”

Organizers confirmed that all official programming will move forward as planned, including:

  • Daytime pool parties and social events
  • Nightly entertainment and DJ experiences
  • The GayDays Vendor Expo and community marketplace
  • Mr. GayDays and Miss GayDays Pageants
  • VIP lounges and hosted activities
  • The Red Room late-night environment
  • Specialty entertainment and adult-themed programming

By consolidating the experience within one fully dedicated venue, organizers say the updated format will create a tighter sense of connection among attendees—addressing feedback from prior years.

“Our goal was to bring the community back together under one roof,” said co-owner Charles Cantrell. “This structure allows guests to stay where the action is and enjoy a welcoming space created specifically for them. It’s a more focused, more intentional GayDays experience.”

As always, the beloved tradition of Red Shirt Day at Walt Disney World will continue on Saturday, inviting thousands of visitors to wear red and show visibility throughout the parks. While GayDays operates independently of Disney, the tradition remains one of the most recognizable symbols of Pride unity.

Organizers said the earlier planning pause provided time to evaluate logistics and ensure long-term event stability.

“We didn’t want to move forward unless we knew we could deliver the experience our community expects,” Cantrell said. “Now that everything is in place, our focus is on bringing people together and making 2026 a strong return.”

Founded in the early 1990s, GayDays remains one of Central Florida’s longest-running LGBTQ+ celebrations, drawing thousands each year for a weekend of connection, entertainment, and pride.
