The biggest gay party of the year, One Magical Weekend, is just months away from June 1-5, 2024.
We post each year about one of our favorite events held the first week of June called One Magical Weekend and Gay Days Orlando. One Magical Weekend at Walt Disney World includes three magical days at Disney plus great events such as daytime pool parties and nights full of music to heart pounding beats. Here you will see some of the hottest gays from around the world landing on the happiest place on earth. There are several parties and events that take place in the afternoons and evenings at the host hotel properties and other amazing venues at night and afterhours.
The first weekend of June each year – for the 30th year – thousands and thousands of LGBTQ travelers from around the world will descend on Orlando at Walt Disney World Resorts for One Magical Weekend.
Reunite with friends from around the world and make new friends at Riptide at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Waterpark where 6,000 guests will be dancing under the stars with International DJ/Producers Oscar and Edgar Velazquez. Where to Stay?
You definitely want to stay at the host hotel (Lake Buena Vista for 2023 if at all possible. You can see the hotel packages offered by clicking here. The Sheraton LBV is located at 12205 S Apopka Vineland Rd, Lake Buena Vista, FL.
Another option is MisterBnb with a nearby Gay Friendly stay. While you can still access all the events without staying onsite, you won’t get the full experience unless you’re there. The event has reserved the entire hotel so it’s just One Magical Weekend guests during the stay and no families visiting Disney.
The only official host hotel on Disney property and the only one with bus service to all of Walt Disney World Resorts theme parks during the day AND to all of One Magical Weekend’s events including Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Waterpark and The Main Event “RED” at the House of Blues.
Tips for a Safe and Fun Gay Days and One Mighty Weekend 2023:
1. Buy Tickets and Hotel Rooms NOW before they are all sold out! Check here for MisterBnb rooms close to the Disney area.
2. Take the free shuttle from the host hotel to events or see below for discounts on rideshare. Don’t Party and Drive!

3. Make reservations ahead of time if you wish to eat on Disney Properties such as at the Epcot where they have some of the world’s top restaurants.

What happened to the “Gay Days” Doubletree host hotel?
The “Gay Days” organization has moved over to the Margaritaville Resort. You can read more about “Gay Days moving host hotels” here. This will have no effect on the OMW events although we are excited to also see what they will bring this year but had hoped for a total reboot that would be more to the partygoers advantage than theirs.
What happened to the Parliament House Orlando?
They plan to reopen in 2023 but we do not have word the exact date. The original location was demolished and the new location will be in Downtown Orlando.
